Location, Timing & Your First Session
Classes take place at the welcoming Westbury Arts Centre in Milton Keynes, a relaxed and creative space that’s perfect for learning.
With flexible scheduling, you can choose a time that fits comfortably around your life. I recommend starting with a 2.5-hour session, giving us plenty of time to cover the basics and complete your very first handmade item.

Getting to know all the parts of the sewing machine
Threading your machine with confidence
Winding and inserting a bobbin
Sewing in a straight line, turning corners, and reverse stitching
Feeding fabric smoothly throughthe sewing machine
Creating a fabulous drawstring bag to take home as your first project
No experience needed, just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Everything is taken care of, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
I provide:
Sewing machine. Prefer to bring your own sewing machine? That’s absolutely fine.
You’re also welcome to use one of mine, whatever helps you feel most at ease.
